Model Recovery Procedure Information

The Transportation Emergency Preparedness Program has several Model Procedures available for emergency response agencies. The Model Procedures are designed to help remedy procedural weaknesses that the agency has identified by conducting the TEPP Model Needs Assessment.

The purpose of the Model Recovery Procedure is to provide assistance in the recovery planning for an incident involving radioactive material. The Model Procedure contains the recommended elements for developing and conducting recovery planning at the scene of a transportation incident involving radiological material.
