Full 2-Day MERRTT Class

The Full 2-Day MERRTT program is delivered in approximately 16 classroom hours and includes all of the following modules:

  5. Initial Response Actions
  6. Patient Handling
  7. Radiological Survey Instruments & Dosimetry Devices
  8. Decontamination, Disposal and Documentation
  9. DOE Shipments and Resources
  10. Waste Isolation Pilot Plant
  11. Pre-Hospital Practices
  12. Transportation of Safeguards Material
  13. Transportation by Rail
  14. Case Histories
  15. Public Information Officer

In addition to the modules listed above, up to 6 hands-on exercise activities will also be covered:

  1. Instrument Use
  2. Assessing Package Integrity
  3. Bunker Gear Decontamination
  4. Patient Handling
  5. Personnel Survey
  6. Picture Card
