The Compressed MERRTT program is delivered in approximately 8 classroom hours and includes all of the following modules:
- Radiological Basics
- Biological Effects
- Radioactive Material Shipping Packages
- Hazard Recognition
- Radiological Survey Instruments & Dosimetry Devices
- Patient Handling
- Decontamination, Disposal and Documentation
In addition to the modules listed above, a minimum of three of the following hands-on exercise activities will also be covered:
- Instrument Use
- Assessing Package Integrity
- Bunker Gear Decontamination
- Patient Handling
- Personnel Survey
- Picture Card
