Compressed MERRTT

The Compressed MERRTT program is delivered in approximately 8 classroom hours and includes all of the following modules:

  1. Radiological Basics
  2. Biological Effects
  3. Radioactive Material Shipping Packages
  4. Hazard Recognition
  5. Radiological Survey Instruments & Dosimetry Devices
  6. Patient Handling
  7. Decontamination, Disposal and Documentation

In addition to the modules listed above, a minimum of three of the following hands-on exercise activities will also be covered:

  1. Instrument Use
  2. Assessing Package Integrity
  3. Bunker Gear Decontamination
  4. Patient Handling
  5. Personnel Survey
  6. Picture Card
